Administrator

Jennifer Illarde

Jennifer joined the Alden North Shore Rehabilitation and Health Care Center staff when the facility opened in 1999 as Personnel Director and was promoted to her current position in 2003. Under her leadership, Alden North Shore has achieved deficiency-free surveys from the Illinois Department of Public Health for three consecutive years, which is a reflection of her staff’s commitment to quality patient/resident care. Jennifer studied Accounting and Business Administration at DePaul University in Chicago.

Assistant Administrator

Cynthia Palao

In May 2007, Cynthia assumed the position of Assistant Administrator at Alden North Shore. In her role, she assists with day-to-day operations and works closely with staff. She previously worked as a physician assistant and developed customer satisfaction and employee retention programs. She has an associate’s degree in Business from Elgin Community College and six years of management experience.

Director of Nursing

Karen Busog, RN

Karen Busog, RN, has been the Director of Nursing at Alden North Shore since December 2008. She is responsible for the overall operations of the Nursing Department and nursing staff. Karen received her nursing degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines.

Admission Director

Roselle Pasia

Roselle joined Alden North Shore as a part-time receptionist and decided to remain at the facility after she graduated from DePaul University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management. As she became more familiar with rehabilitation and long-term care, she was asked to serve in the role of Social Service Director at Alden Poplar Creek and Alden Estates of Evanston rehabilitation and health care centers. She assumed her current position in January 2007 at Alden North Shore.
