"I was anxious when I was told I needed rehab following surgery but I am so happy to say that the staff at Alden North Shore is the best. Everyone is professional and they always seem ready and willing to assist at anytime. The therapists are the best around. They take into account your pain level while supporting you physically and emotionally. "My mom was at Alden North Shore for over four years before she passed away. During her time at the facility, she received the best care possible. Everyone – nurses, CNAs, kitchen staff, maintenance staff – helped her and saw to her needs. The nursing staff was always patient with her, even when she was at her most difficult. They not only fed and bathed her but they also loved her. The day before she died, everyone came in the room to say goodbye even though she wasn't even aware of her surroundings. The staff at Alden North Shore has become my family over the years and I could not have gotten through such a trying time without them. They helped me in every way possible and were very compassionate and understanding.
